The CIGWELD Cobalarc CR70 Electrode is a high-alloy hard surfacing electrode designed for rebuilding and protecting components exposed to severe wear in demanding industrial environments. It produces a weld deposit rich in primary chromium carbides, giving strong resistance to coarse abrasion, gouging abrasion, and moderate impact loading at temperatures up to about 650°C, making it well suited for applications such as crusher cones, mantles, bucket teeth, dozer end plates, and similar wear-prone parts.
